Couple noteworthy things. Rob heard on Clark Howard's on the way here that the Euro would be weaker against the dollar this summer due to less business travel etc. We're also talking about visiting Hitler's "Eagles's Nest", not very far from Ruhpolding. Also talking about not locking in any more dates, leave it open ended. Off the beaten track in eastern Europe, probably not alot of trouble finding reasonable hotels.
