More Minutae
We both had a half day off due to snow today; Rob was doing some vehicle switching at the repair shop and needed a ride, so we did the vehicle switching and stopped for a cuppa sweet stuff at Starbuck's, talked a bit about this and that, including what kind of phone service we needed over there, what kind of computer access there was in Eastern (Central) Europe, and what kind of adaptors we may need. And cords and stuff. On the way back home, I stopped at Border's and explored the Michelin driving maps. Saw them on Rick Steves website the other day. I almost ordered some then, but wanted to check them out in person first. Which I did. I looked first at the Michelin 'Europe' road atlas. Okay, but of course not a whole lot of detail. I'll prolly end up getting a map of each of the countries. I DID pick up a map of Hungary. Appears easy enough to get around.
