Monday, June 28 & Tuesday June 29th

We're in a pub at Heathrow at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday local time. We were supposed to be on the way to Rhupolding, Germany right now, after visiting Lichtenstein. Nope. There were a total of four legs to our flights. First two were fine. The other two were absurd. Ludicrous. Any other word. Delay after cancellation after delay. The flight across the 'big pond' was supposed to leave at 5:30 yesterday; we got bumped to the next flight at 11:30 p.m., and THAT was 3.5 hours late. Ended up leaving JFK 9 hours late. Last link, to Zurich, is going to be 3 hours late because the JFK link was behind. And so forth. We're okay, just tired. More from wherever we end up tongiht. Going to try to get about a half hour out of Zurich towards the NE, and will probably cut entirely the stuff to Eagle's Nest. Will head directly for Nurnberg in the morning, Wed. morning. We smell like carpet schmoo.
