More Travel Erotica

• Ordered some more travel stuff today. Got an updated edition of Rick Steve's "Eastern Europe". All kindsa good stuff in there, man. The version I had before was a 2008 edition; read a bunch of it at TMEA waiting in the Grand Hyatt. Gotta get an international driver's license, etc. 
• Picked up 3 Michelin maps, the best road maps: Slovenia/Croatia, Poland, and Czech Republic/Slovakia. Add to that the ones I have....Switzerland, Germany, Northeast Italy, I'm just about there. The only area I may not cover is a bit of northern Italy on the way back to Switzerland at the end of the trip. 
• I also am going to have to figure out a better backpack. While the Rick Steve's backpack I got last year is a perfect backpack, it's not big enough for all the maps and the laptop. I'll check at REI for an update of Ol' Ed's Eagle Creek backpack, which has a detachable smaller backpack that zips off. That's all the news for now.
